Rogue Point KT50 Carbine Guide

The KT50 is Rogue Point 1.0’s semi-automatic carbine: a flexible mid-range platform for squads that already understand pacing. It rewards clean shots and punishes panic mag dumps that feel like full-auto muscle memory.

Role fit

Use KT50 when your job is holding mid lanes, supporting entry after the first door, or bridging Clinic corridors with Mall atriums. Pair with Mule entry or a smoke utility seat so the carbine is not forced into every close emergency. Role templates live on Loadouts.

Strengths

  • Cleaner mid-range trades than awkward specialty trophies
  • Flexible across Office corridors and mixed maps — see Office
  • Semi-auto pacing can save ammo into extract if the shooter is honest

Weaknesses

  • Panic shooters who expect full-auto will lose door fights
  • Heavy armor windows still want AP plans from Tier List HVT notes
  • Not a substitute for smoke or medkits in the budget

Economy and progression

Unlock or buy KT50 after the squad’s survival baseline is stable. Cross-check How to Get Better Weapons and Dead Drops so a carbine flex does not bankrupt extract utility.

Map personality

  • Clinic / Mall / Office — strong if you can manage peeks
  • Airport / Oil Rig exteriors — viable with a lane partner; weak if you are the only mid/long answer and freeze under sniper pressure — see Airport
  • Boss nights — acceptable DPS seat if AP is available; still assign add control separately for Oil Rig boss

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Rogue Point operators.

Is the KT50 full-auto?

No. It is a semi-automatic carbine — trigger discipline and pacing matter more than spray habits.

Who should run KT50?

A mid-range or flex seat that can land consistent hits while a teammate owns pure CQB or pure lane work.

Does it replace my assault rifle?

Only if you can keep ammo and armor funded and still win doors. Controllable full-auto remains safer for many new squads.
