Rogue Point Weapons Tier List

This Rogue Point tier list ranks weapons by how often they help squads finish campaigns: controllable fire in doorways, enough ammo for extracts, and a path into armored HVT or 5-Star fights. Patch numbers move; the evaluation method should not.

S-tier: campaign anchors

High-DPS full-auto platforms that stay stable through short bursts, accept useful attachments, and scale with armor-piercing ammo belong here. Examples players repeatedly cite in successful runs include flexible assault platforms and late unlocks that still forgive panic moments. If a gun wins doors and still has magazine for extract, it is S-tier for this wiki’s purpose.

A-tier: role specialists

  • Strong SMGs for close mall and office stacks
  • Battle rifles / marksman options for airport lanes when a teammate owns close range
  • Shotguns that earn their slot by breaching and deleting rushers — including the 1.0 Mule when entry is covered elsewhere
  • Semi-auto flex seats like KT50 when the shooter has trigger discipline
  • Lane marksman seats like A1M when doors are already owned
  • Secondary pistols that actually save dry primary moments

Specialists are A-tier when the squad builds around them. They drop if four players all bring the same narrow tool. Recheck after Version 1.0 balance and price notes.

B-tier: situational or budget

Early pistols-plus-vest kits, awkward specialty guns, and high-recoil trophies live here until attachments or AP arrive. B-tier is fine for phase one. It is a warning label for late campaign greed.

HVT and heavy notes

For armored targets, prefer full-auto seats with AP and keep explosives available. Slow semi-auto-only kits need clean kite space. Cross-check 5-Star guide and MERX Classes.

Budget ladder

  1. Controllable automatic you can afford with armor
  2. Ammo support plan (box or backpack teammate)
  3. Optics / recoil attachment on your main
  4. AP path for heavies and HVT
  5. Dead Drop specialty flex — see Dead Drops guide

How to disagree productively

If your lobby loves a gun this list calls B-tier, ask whether you are winning extracts with it. Highlight clips are not campaign wins. Build the rest of the kit in Loadouts and Attachments.

Evaluation rubric used here

  1. Doorway controllability under stress
  2. Ammo longevity into extract
  3. Attachment support
  4. AP or armor-break synergy
  5. Budget honesty for four players

A gun that wins a clip fight but empties before extract loses ranks. A budget automatic that funds team utility can outrank a trophy rifle.

Patch caveat

Crowbar Collective balance passes can move individual names. If a patch notes ADS, TTK, or weapon price changes, re-test your main on a literacy raid before locking it for a finale.

Operator field notes for weapons tier-list

Treat this page as a living checklist for Rogue Point rather than a novel. Before a session, skim the headings and decide which fail state you are solving tonight: doors, lanes, heavies, economy, or extract. After the session, rewrite one habit in your squad chat using language from this page so the next raid starts with shared vocabulary.

Planning board habits

Open the tactical map with microphones on. Narrate intel spends out loud. If nobody can explain why a reveal matters, skip it and buy survival gear instead. Parametric layouts punish silent Ready spam. The planning phase is where campaigns are won cheaply; gunfights are where you pay for planning mistakes.

Mid-raid repair loops

When a room breaks, reset to the previous doorway, reload behind cover, and reassign who owns the first angle. Do not “push to make up time.” Rogue Point’s campaign timer is your remaining lives, not a speedrun clock. If two players are dry, the objective marker can wait thirty seconds.

Extract contract

Agree that optional loot after the objective is banned unless every seat reports green on ammo, armor, and smoke. Say the ban out loud. Most wipes that feel random are actually unspoken greed. Dead Drops, stash rooms, and phones are tools — not obligations.

Economy honesty

Cash spent on a novelty gun while the smoke seat is empty is a team decision, not a personal flex. Share strong rolls. Fund armor before cosmetics. Keep an ammo plan that assumes level pickups will be scarce. If your lobby argues about skins more than extract utility, pause the campaign and reset priorities.

Role language

Keep four jobs in circulation even if players rotate: entry, smoke, long-lane, rear/utility. On three-player nights, merge rear into utility and accept slower clears. Solo operators must invent trade windows with utility and positioning because no teammate will create them.

Map personality reminders

Airport and oil-rig exteriors punish impatient peeks. Mall and clinic interiors punish tunnel vision on the wrong floor. Office corridors grade door discipline every thirty seconds. Learn the personality, then let parametric spawns surprise you inside a stable habit framework.

Enemy priority reminders

Snipers deny lanes. Berserkers deny space. Lookouts deny focus. Heavies deny magazines without a plan. Soldiers punish neglect during extracts. Call the denial piece first. The 5-Star Mercenary is a room-control exam wrapped around a damage check — clear geometry before ego peeks.

Tooling

Use the loadout planner when roles feel messy. Use the mission checklist before deploy, before the objective trigger, and before extract. Tools exist to make disagreements visible while you can still buy smoke.

After-action questions

  1. What almost wiped us?
  2. Which job was missing?
  3. Did we break the post-objective loot ban?
  4. What durable unlock did we still earn tonight?

Answer those four and this wiki page did its job — even if the campaign ended early.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for Rogue Point operators.

Is this tier list for solo or co-op?

Primarily co-op role play. Solo players should bias toward forgiving automatics and skip finicky specialty guns longer.

Why are some expensive guns mid-tier?

If recoil, reload, or ammo economy causes wipes, the gun fails the campaign test regardless of damage on paper.

How often will this change?

After major balance patches and weapon drops. Recheck AP availability and new 1.0 guns after updates.
