Rogue Point Mule Shotgun

The Mule is Rogue Point 1.0’s small shotgun: a purpose tool for doors, modules, and Berserker-distance panic — not a default primary for every map personality.

Role in the squad

Assign Mule to the entry seat that already owns close clears. Pair with a teammate on KT50 or a stable automatic so Airport lanes and Oil Rig walkways are not abandoned. Build the rest of the kit in Loadouts.

Strengths

• Deletes rushers and doorway threats quickly
• Supports breach moments where long guns feel clumsy

Weaknesses

• Ammo honesty matters; panic spam empties the gun before extract
• Exterior Oil Rig and Airport lanes punish shotgun-only stacks — see Oil Rig and Airport
• Buying Mule instead of armor is a classic wipe setup

1. Fund armor and medkits first
2. Buy Mule when the entry seat lacks a close answer
3. Keep backpack ammo planned with the utility seat
4. Do not fund cosmetics the same night — Cosmetics

Attachments and handling

Prioritize handling and sight picture that keep the gun ready after vaults and door kicks. Cross-check Attachments and Controls. ADS tunnel habits that work on marksman rifles will feel wrong here — practice hip-fire brackets in safe modules.

When Mule climbs the tier list

Mule belongs in A-tier for CQB-heavy nights and situational B/A for mixed maps depending on whether someone else owns mid-range. Recheck ranks on Tier List after you actually extract with it, not after one highlight kill.
